The very first gameconsole was a zero bit-console (only contains trasistors) and what invented by Ralph Bear in 1972. It was never a succes because of bad marketing. Most people had the idea you needed also a Magnavox-tv, to hook-up the system. There were sold about 100.000 consoles till 1975 when the system have been discontinued.



There were in total 28 games available for the Magnavox Odyssey System.



The Magnavox Pong 200 had even not enough memery to keep track of the points that were made, so players had to keep it up manualy by the slider. The price was in 1975 $129.95
